DESIGN N DEV TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services provided by Design n Dev ("we", "us", "our") via designndev.uk. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Our Services

Design n Dev provides logo design, branding, business card design, website design and development, e-commerce setup, and ongoing website maintenance services, as described on our Services and Pricing pages.

2. Quotes and Pricing

•      All prices listed on our website are estimates and may vary based on project scope and specific requirements.

•      A final quote will be confirmed in writing (email or WhatsApp) before any work begins.

•      Any launch offers or discounted pricing are valid for a limited time or number of clients, as stated at the time of the offer, and may be withdrawn or changed without prior notice.

3. Payment Terms

•      A deposit may be required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion or as otherwise agreed in writing.

•      Accepted payment methods (e.g. Payoneer, bank transfer) will be confirmed at the time of quote.

•      Late payments may result in delays to project delivery or suspension of ongoing maintenance services.

4. Project Process & Revisions

•      Each package includes a specified number of design concepts and revision rounds, as listed on our Pricing page.

•      Additional revisions beyond the included amount may incur extra charges, to be agreed in advance.

•      Clients are responsible for providing timely feedback and any content (text, images, logos) needed to complete the project. Delays in client feedback may extend delivery timelines accordingly.

5. Ownership & Intellectual Property

•      Upon full payment, ownership of the final delivered design files (logo, website, branding materials) transfers to the client.

•      We reserve the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials, unless the client requests confidentiality in writing.

•      Any third-party assets used (stock photos, fonts, plugins) remain subject to their own licensing terms.

6. Website Hosting & Maintenance

•      Websites built by Design n Dev may require ongoing hosting, domain renewal, and maintenance, which are separate from the one-time build cost unless otherwise stated in your package.

•      Monthly maintenance packages (if purchased) cover the specific services listed at the time of purchase (e.g. updates, backups, minor edits) and do not include unlimited new feature development unless separately agreed.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

•      If a project is cancelled after work has begun, the client is responsible for payment for work completed up to that point.

•      Deposits are generally non-refundable once design or development work has started, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

•      We aim to resolve any dissatisfaction through revisions first; refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis.

8. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

•      Provide accurate business information and timely feedback

•      Ensure any content provided (images, text, logos) does not infringe on third-party copyright or trademark rights

•      Make payments as agreed

9. Limitation of Liability

Design n Dev makes every reasonable effort to deliver high-quality work on time, but is not liable for:

•      Indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the delivered website or designs

•      Downtime or issues caused by third-party hosting, domain, or plugin providers

•      Delays caused by late client feedback or content delivery

10. Termination

We reserve the right to pause or terminate a project if payment terms are not met, or if communication from the client ceases for an extended period without resolution.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
